Using your characters to banish your opponents valuable cards helps both to slow them down and protect your own precious cards from counterattacks
It also includes Mother Knows Best, getting players used to the idea that they can bring back banished characters
Stacking up your graveyard with powerful spells, Emet can temporarily unlock your graveyard after having 14 or more cards in the pile , letting you unleash them at will so long as it's still your turn
In time, either deck may prove to be great for competitive play, but right now, I'm not convinced either are as competitively viable as Rise of the Floodborn 's Amethyst/Steel deck , which is arguably still the most powerful Starter Deck to date
