Elegant Old (Sailor Made?) Hanging Ball in Cage Whimsy with Very Sharp Point danish design objects I recently found another postcard

I recently found another postcard featuring a baby having just spilled a bottle of black ink all over the place

5 7/8" l x 1 5/16" w x 7/8" t and in very nice condition

but it seems she may be wearing a few straps

(And the wear to the paint on the lid where the snake hits it as it completes its emergence tells us it has been opened many times

Hanging Ball in Cage Whimsy with Very Sharp Point danish design objects I recently found another postcardI have a feeling this whimsy was made by a sailor with the sharply pointed end rather like that of a fid. Whatever the case, an old one, and a beauty, which would quite hold its own on the wall, hanging from one nail. 5 3 16" x 13 16" x 13 16". Very good condition.
